BDSwiss Sponsors the “Paddling for life, Paddling for Children” in Support of the “Panos Euripidou Foundation”
We all have our own oceans to cross, waves to ride and storms to survive. However, when done collectively, great things can be achieved. This is what embodies the idea behind the annual charity event “Paddling for life, Paddling for Children” which BDSwiss proudly sponsored on December 1-2, 2023.
This year, Costas Simeonides and his team of well-known windsurfing and stand-up paddleboarding athletes set for another sporting expedition in an effort to gather funds to support the “Panos Euripidou Foundation” which strives to improve the quality of life of prematurely born children.
On Friday, December 1, a group of twenty sea adventurers paddled from Akamas towards Limassol covering a total distance of 140 km. The next day, a team of other eight paddling enthusiasts met them on the route near Petra tou Romiou, while another fifteen people set off from the Lady’s Mile with the aim of reaching Amathusia as the finishing point. It was a day filled with camaraderie, sportsmanship and, most importantly, a shared commitment to making a difference!
We would like to congratulate Costas and his team for their effort to contribute once again to this noble cause and make a positive change in the lives of young miracles. As BDSwiss, it is our duty to play a pivotal role in fueling such initiatives and contribute in any way possible, especially when it’s meant to advance the lives of children; our future.
